Fees follow industry
standard and fall into three categories:
- Hourly charged -
- For initial
consultation and site visits/inspections during the construction stage
- Fixed cost –
- This can be
estimated for site surveys, all design drawings, specifications and other
documentation and reports
- Percentage –
- On large
schemes the fee can be calculated by percentage on a sliding scale;
determined by construction costs and complexity. The consultant will
inform the client of the most cost effective method
Other expenses such as travelling may be incurred
dependent on location.
